I'm trying to set up Arachne to work with a free mail service now
provided by Novell. It's called myrealbox. You can access from the
web at www.myrealbox.com or use POP3 or IMAP clients.
I'm getting POP3 to work no problem, but SMTP doesn't send out with
Arachne 1.69. The SMTP.log shows a dialog with the mail server at
smtp.myrealbox.com, but then says authentication is required.
Can Arachne authenticate to SMTP servers, or is this a problem?
The documentation says I can use any mail client such as Eudora,
Pine, Outlook Express and so on.
Can anybody help?
Great thing about this free service is absolutely no advertising
of any kind.
