There are several external editor APMs. I think I've tried all of them.
Some of them don't work well at all for me. I finally got one that works
fine, but I had to apply my own tweaks and also I set it up to use an
alternate text editor instead of EDITV, the freeware editor that comes
supplied with the APM package. It will work well also with the text editor
supplied, but I choose to use a different text editor. Try XEDIT40.APM,
168,304 bytes. Author of this APM is Tomas Brunclik, email:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] I think you will find a copy of his APM on the Arachne
download pages.
All the best
Sam Heywood
P.S. I am not interested in getting involved in a flame war over
which is the best text editor or which is the best APM. It would be a
jolly good fight, but I haven't the time for that.
