I couldn't find anywhere that told me how precisely to set up the call
to an external editor ... so I entered a bit of dummy info into the
field and exited to take a look at ARACHNE.CFG

All it showed was Editor [dummy data]

So I went to NC to check how I'd linked in the external editor there, in
particular how I transferred file name to/from the editor, wrote it down
and then placed that path & format into the Editor line in .cfg

Now hitting F-4 gives me an Unknown Protocol message.

For some reason Arachne is putting the PORT address into the external
editor line when invoked. The following is an example:

edit://:80V:\temp\arachne.tmp\whatever.htm

Besides the problem with the :80 port being stuck in where it doesn't
belong, I don't think that edit://V:\temp is a path that DOS would
recognize. Is it???

It would help if I knew if I were doing *anything* right ... but there
are really no instructions I can find in 1.69 as to how to "fill in the
blank" in the external editor "command" field. :<
