  The group could be formed as a moderated group, but that would
mean some central "authority," whether human or software, would
have to approve each article before it was posted.

  rec.crafts.glass is (was) beginning to get more garbage than
many of us like, so I rewrote the charter, and it's now in the
process of being voted upon.  Once it passes, those of a mind
to be "monitors," can cancel any post which falls outside the
charter's parameters.

  And others... again I point to comp.lang.python... which is also
a mail list, have almost none.
