Let's start a new thread. Please refer to the new subject line.

In the case of several types of Winblows-only printers I have been able
to print ascii text files, but no graphics. To do this I use the DOS
"type" command with the output directed to PRN.
(i.e. "type myfile.txt > prn") There are some DOS programs, such as
WordPerfect for DOS for example, which provide drivers that will enable
you to print using some printers that are normally winblows-only. If you
do not find the drivers you need in your software package, you can
download additional drivers from the WordPerfect website, which, BTW, is
now owned by Corel. Almost all major commercial DOS software packages will
provide a driver for a "generic text printer". This type of driver will
usually allow you to print ascii text only with a winblows-only printer.
