Not all US post offices carry International money orders. Back
when I registered, I first went to the Post Office 1/2 mile from
my house. They didn't issue International Money Orders. For that,
I'd have had to drive to the "city" PO that was 14 miles away.
That's when I decided to just mail the $20 bill.
So it's not just a matter of who will accept them, but also
of which Post Offices will issue them.
