Hi there Gangue,
I have to agree with Or. Odd though it may seem, I still look at all
my websites with Arachne, both commercial and personal. Then I make a
decision as to whether or not I change or alter something to suit.
OK, so they don't all work in Arachne, or Enigma, or Opera as well as
IE4 and Netscape, but as far as possible I do know this, and can
answer a comment about their workings or otherwise.
And I have to say that for some routine tasks and calculations, DOS
still works well or better that Win. For example, Ohms Law hasn't
changed because Uncle Bill brought out Win 2001, and nor has the
value of Pi.
Now does anyone know of a cheap Mac (like freeware) simulator that
will let me look at how the pages load on a Mac?
Regards
And a Happy New Year Gangue
Mel
