Good point, Michael, on the comparison between Windows, DOS and Linux regarding
the level of user control. Windows email programs do strange annoying things
often without user knowledge, like HTML attachments, quoted-printable, and a
series of three upper ASCII characters just to indicate three periods... I like
to see what's going on, see what the file really looks like. Notion that
Windows is user-friendly is just hot air, as I found when I tried to make a
directory on a diskette at a public library computer, where the DOS way is
MD A:\TELEBOT

Linux and Unix counterpart of DOS .BAT files is much more complicated, but
offers much more power.

Now I would like more direct control of Arachne installation and configuration
without having to go through the wizards, and then I still have to look through
and edit ARACHNE.CFG.
