I can't speak for Windows 2000 since I haven't used it, but NT was happy
with less. Of course I didn't run it as a server so there's a diffrence but
as a client it works fine (and it does multitask). If you don't run any
games and don't mind that it's a bit slower I suggest you use NT instead of
9x since it's much more stable. Of course Linux might be a better choice
anyway, but then you would need to change everything and that's probably a
too big step for everyone.
