thanks for having a look on it. So we know that 1.66 can handle
application/tiff and save the attached fax.tif correctly but 1.69 doesn't.

Yes it is possible to send more than one attachment with A. but the
message I sent is from one of my mail providers. They offer a service to
receive faxes and voice calls at a special phone number an convert it to
an e-mail. The service is free, bur the caller is charged with 0.24 DM
per minute.
