Ron: www.powerbasic.com has good links to many independent and user
supported BASIC sites. Follow the link tree and you will see much that
exists in the BASIC world. You will come across some free and almost free
BASIC compilers. I don't however know how good they are. Let the list
know if you find anything worthwhile.
