I always thought (and practiced) that a GUI is different from
CLI, because it can make more effective use of the screen. The point
is NOT that it uses a mouse. My favourite GUI can be quite
effectively and fast run without any mouse at all. It's name is
Windows 98. Only applications under Windows have the tendency to
force the use of the mouse.

A good GUI should offer alternative ways of control in order to
respond to different skills of its users (typewriting skills,
intuitive or key shortcut use, etc.). In this relation Arachne is
one of the best - and therefore also one of the fastest.
