I get a "personalized cartoon" every week. I get the e-mail, follow
the enclosed link, and my personalize cartoon appears.
This week the link was [as it has always been]
http://www.cartoonlink.com/myfly.cgi?userID=956375629
But this week I didn't see my cartoon. Instead I see the status line at
the bottom of the screen doing crazy things ... downloading DISCONNECTED
downloading 2012345 Disconnected Downloading 3107332 incrementing
higher and higher each time. And it was going on so rapidly it took
less than 10 seconds to reach the point of xSwap error [no I didn't get
the line code ... sorry] when over 3Megabytes had been supposedly
downloaded despite interjected disconnections.
Perhaps someone else running 1.70v3 can check out the site and see if
the same thing happens to them.
I had plenty of DOS memory to start with, the cache had been empty
before I started reading mail and currently shows only 5 items, Free
xSwap is 3xUsed amount, plenty of disk space, but 42938030367 Used XMS.
[Since I only have 132Mb, I think that number is wrong.]
Hopefully a reboot might let me get to the cartoon on the next try.
