Not a problem, Clarence, that works just fine and I get a directory
listing. Which is better than nothing.

But one of the really good features of Arachne (one that I brag about
when talking to Win9x users - including my wife) is the built-in cache
index that not only gives access to what has been collected in the
cache, but also gives the original URL that each file came from, and
also identifies the original file name of every CODED cache file. This
feature shits all over anything else that I have seen. And I would like
it back.

   Please, Michael. :)

It allowed me to do a very fast recce across the internet, gathering
data, pages, graphics (chemistry not anatomy) and so on, and then study
them all at my leisure, and save those I want to keep under their
correct file names.
It allowed me to add stuff to the HOTLIST directly from the original
URLs listed in the cache index.
And I miss being able to sneer when my wife has trouble locating
something in her W95 Netscape cache.

Regards,
        Ron
(Still think A1.70 is the best yet.)
