Hey, that's right. I was trying to delete an unwanted file from my
Arachne download directory. And "right mouse click + DELETE" works as
usual when in another directory entirely.
This must be Arachne's way of protecting her chicks. Kill anything
but "family". Probably a wise safety "feature", not a bug, after all.

No, not with A 1.66. That works fine - I use this function ALL the
time. That is why I came acros it with 1.70. When researching on the net
my fingers are in auto-pilot, but I was using 1.70 for the first time in a
working situation and I couldn't delete a downloaded file that I had
already saved into another directory.

Nope, this WAS a mouse-marked file.

Was this in an Arachne sub-directory, as mentioned by Clarence ?
