With images "on" I tried downloading the Washington Post page and
then interupted by hitting the "esc" key. After several tries the
download aborted. Hitting "r" would start a reload of the page. The
second time around the download stopped right away and the page loaded.
No crash either time. But you had to wait until the download stopped
before doing anything new.
