Here in the usofA we have PBS, and on PBS Charlie Rhodes makes a habit
of interviewing all sorts of people, important people, people who are
"in the know ..."

Tonight a major developmental executive from IBM stated, beyond a doubt
with no reservations, that IBM is moving to Linux because only with the
whole world cooperating [he didn't mention GNUpyright or open source]
Linux is most likely to develop fast enough to make software worthy of
the new generations of computers being developed.

He didn't use those precise words, but he went on for over 7 minutes
[that's a LOT of air time] about the advantages of Linux development and
why IBM felt it was the way to go.

Michael, if you're listening ... you could make a lot of friends writing
an interactive Linux Tutorial program, and after we beta test it you can
then make money selling it to others.  <HINT HINT HINT!!!>

Thought most of the list would be interested in this little piece of
data.
