I went off half-cocked there: that included the download time !
But I was pretty sure it didn't when I wrote it. arrrrrgggh :-\

The actual conversion and display times are the same for both
.ZBM and .PNG as long as you don't change resolution. (sometimes)
With the .ZBM "+" to 1024x768 takes 2 sec to reload the image.
For some reason, the same operation with the .PNG took 12 sec
when I first tried it - but I can't repeat it. :(
Converting again? Virtual screens ? I have NO idea.
Probably a glitch in the matrix. Maybe my wetware cache is full.
