Yes, of course you can access any local file by typing in the path to the
file and the file name on the address bar, no matter where Arachne is
installed, but this fact is not relevant to this discussion.  My corrections
had nothing to do with accessing a local file by typing in its path on the
address bar.  My corrections applied only to the hyperlinks appearing on the
file and they applied only to a default installation, as previously
explained.
