No, l.d., I will definetely not watch your arachne.cfg,
but let me introduce to you a friend of mine:
SMILEY - Arachne's configuration detective
------------------------------------------
Download:
http://www.volny.cz/lange/smiley.zip
Description:
This small utility controls ARACHNE.CFG whenever you like to do so.
And it will warn you if the file has been invaded by smiley faces.
This ought to help to locate the latest bug in Arachne 1.70rev3 that
corrupts the configuration file. Call the program from Arachne by hot
key ShiftF6 (or any other).
Install:
1. Copy the files SMILEY.DAT, SMILEY.OOK and SMILEY.BAT
to Arachne's main directory.
2. Change the key definition line in ARACHNE.CFG:
ShiftF6 file://smiley.ook
Uninstall:
1. Delete the files SMILEY.DAT, SMILEY.OOK and SMILEY.BAT
from Arachne's main directory.
2. change the key definition line in ARACHNE.CFG:
ShiftF6 whatever_you_like
