Well, I hope that it will be the 'community' I mentioned, otherwise
it could be that the "New Power" might be the courts. Personally
I see it as a bad thing. Napster is now an over-chewed example,
but its still a good one - court claim that since Napster is serving
as a 'search engine' it can block 'illegal transfers' and they should,
or be closed.

I wonder how long it will take them to figure out that Altavista,
Google, Yahoo, Hotbot, Lycos, and even the dreaded MSN are also
providing search services for 'illegal transfer' of warez and MP3
files. I dont think that any judge ever tried to search for +warez
in a search engine.

And I dont think that they also noticed that once Napster will be
shut down or begin to demand payment and block transfers, its users
will just move on to the free alternatives that are now availble
almost everywhere, and the only reason they havent became more popular
then napster is because 1)they are less known, 2)Napster is still
active.

So its gonna be the battle of the giants - Users vs. Autorities.

Sounds like a script for a bad action movie. :P
