Hello Ross;
The log file I was referring to is produced by LSPPP - the /l switch
is recognized by IT. PPP.log is produced when you go online and erased
upon hangup. To see PPP.log, you must shell to DOS (altE) when online.

If you are interested in getting a log of Arachne activity, you will have
to modify Arachne.bat.

This is my mod to produce Trace.log: (about 50kb per month)
Insert these two trace lines where indicated:

echo Don't worry, this is just Arachne lock file...>lock
:continue
echo >>trace.log #1 %1
echo >>trace.log #2 %2
core.exe %1 %2

Umm, actually, I just recalled that there is a button to view log files
on the Desktop|Utilities page - so you don't have to shell out unless you
want to make copies or change file names.

Umm, not even to make copies.:(
I'm just not used to wading.thru layers of clicky bits. <G>
