Hi list,

finally I got a successful connection with lsppp to the Czech server
QUICK.CZ. The solution was that I had to combine LSPPP with
Arachne's dialer MINITERM.EXE. Every time when I used LSPPP as a
dialer it failed during authentication. (On the other server
VOLNY.CZ it did the entire job without MINITERM). Here is the
successful configuration and resulting log:

... just in case that it is useful to somebody.

But now I have another question. It is related to the fact that I
call Arachne from dosshell. I made the experience that lsppp
stays in upper memory when I exit Arachne unless I hang up. When I
restart Arachne, she does not recognize that the packet driver is
already loaded and loads it for a second time. When I added lspppd /U
to arachne.bat the line was interrupted. Is there a way to remove
lsppp from memory without hanging up? Any DOS utility?

Regards
Christof Lange
