Now even more interesting, because I had previously tried several times
to go there by typing in the URL name all in lower case. 404 every time!
Now I just tried again by typing in the URL name by using the exact letters
as indicated above and taking care to use the same case characters. Bingo!
I hit the URL and downloaded the file I was looking for. Thanks.
BTW, I have been getting on the internet very frequently for the past five
years. This is the very first time I have ever encountered a
case-sensitive URL. Until just now I have never paid any attention to
case when typing in a URL name. I used to always seem to get to wherever
I wanted to go regardless. Case-sensitive URLs must be quite rare. Have
any of you guys ever come across case-sensitive URLs?
I haven't yet unzipped and tried to use the ramdisk utility I just
downloaded. BTW, Glenn recently recommended that I download a certain
ramdisk utility from some other place. I went there and downloaded it.
Glenn didn't tell me that it was the very same zip package that contains
XMSDISK, the file I was looking for. Now I know that I have the
recommendations of two very fine Arachnids to use XMSDISK. It should work
just fine. Thanks to you both.
All the best,
Sam Heywood
