I've had this happen to me. Very irritating, especially when it's
a big file that took some time to download.
Something similar happens when you attempt to save a web page as
text and you change the default "page.txt" to something mnemonic.
It works, but you get an additional _4prt.txt file (or something
like that). Nothing's lost, but why?
