Dear Listers,
Has anyone tried the "New Improved" Simtel site? The old one worked
well enough, I thought, but now try going to www.simtel.net and clicking
on the MSDOS link.
It begins to download a page and when it gets past about 10k, it does
its warpspeed downloading trick and won't take any notice of any keys,
mouse, etc. Is this a NEW or different bug?
I seem to remember that someone had a way of getting out of the
warpspeed thing - I thought it was pressing 'H' for hotlist - but it
doesn't do it for me. Nor does Ctrl-C or Ctrl-Break. Three fingers is
the only way!
