It might not be a combination of internet apps that is clogging the 
environment, but the failure of other programs to not clear the 
environment variables that they generated.

I ran into that problem in running AutoCad after running Arachne and getting 
the message that I was out of environment space.  Checking the environment, I 
found that Arachne did not clear 4 environment variables that it generated.

I believe that I have a small utility (freeware) on another computer that 
will give the current environment size, the same thing that Manifest does.  I 
will look for it when I get to that computer.
