Well Glenn, That's not exactly a prevarication ... BUT, unless you have a still newer version of Arachne than I, those JPGs were created somewhere *other* than within Arachne. A *real* dead giveaway that your statement above is "lawyerese" [telling the truth but disguising it as something else] is the fact that ALL Arachne can or will do with a JPG file is to *convert* it to BMP. Any modifications of the screen image for a JPG file are actually BMP images modified to fit the screen parameters. I could go to GW and resize that JPG also, if I wanted to. But that's not what this is about, is it? GW *won't* [or can't] resize an ani-GIF AFAICT [and I've tried], so if it were *truly* Arachne writing new resized files you should have been able to present us with resized ani-GIFs. Right? }:> Particularly since Arachne is able to work with GIF files without converting, Right?? And if it were Arachne creating the new sized files, you should be able to tell us where we'd find them ... right? Good try, I'll give you that. But be warned ... I was a forensic accountant, a CPA; and before that I put in more than one stint as a detective and/or crime solution consultant. Finally, I have the equivalent of a BA in English and have written professionally ... so I know how the English language can work to say one thing and have it appear to be something else entirely. <BSG> l.d. -- Join B'FOR - B'mothers For Open Records <A HREF=" http://www.b-for.org "> B'FOR web site</A> [Associate members of triad also welcome; membership confidential.] Every member counts!
