It's been a huge number of searches, multiple over-flowing caches, even
more than a few lockups [some of which I blame now on cache having to
purge before it can write], hundreds of pieces of mail received, scores
of mail sent, and I don't have any loose chains lying around on the HDD.

May I please go back to RAMD caching on my 1.70r3 ??

On version 1.66, it doesn't get as much use, but I'm trying to use it
daily for my yahoo mail ... sometimes for a search. Since putting the
InSight from 1.70r3 in 1.66 there haven't been any chains sitting around
to trip things up on that HDD either [an acutally different physical HDD
even <G>], even with SMTP logging activated.

I'll leave that 'mid-year upgrade' alone since things seem to be working
as well or better than with "proper" version of InSight.
