The current free ad-supported version of Opera is designed for Windows 95
and higher. I believe there are other versions available for Windows 3.x.
If you are running Opera for Windows 95 you can use Dial-up NetWorking.
If you are using a version for Windows 3.x, then I believe you will have to
use third party software for the dialup and Winsock thing.

Opera does not require as much RAM or as much disk space as comparable
versions of MSIE or NetScape. Another advantage of using Opera is that
it can be very easily and completely uninstalled if you decide you don't
like it. I have heard that MSIE can be very difficult to uninstall.

Business standards consist of complying with rules, regulations, laws, and
ethical principles in the conduct of commercial enterprises. Computers and
their operating systems do not promote business standards. People do.

The problem with using either MSIE or NetScape with Windows is that these
two major browsers are much more resource-hungry than Opera. Another good
reason for choosing Opera is that it offers far superior language support
than either NetScape or MSIE, IMHO. I agree that Arachne can meet most
people's needs for most things.
