Hi gangue,

Easter weekend and no end to the F & M thing in the UK. Now over 1150
confirmed cases, although a "government spokesman" (whatever that is)
assures us things are now on the decrease because the daily average
number of cases reported has gone down from 27 to 26! per day.

We've been to Lanark for the weekend, that's about 30 miles or 50 odd
km from Edinburgh, but much signs of problems on the way, many farm
roads closed, and entry restrictions in place even though Lanark is
clear of infection. We were allowed to use a commercial caravan site
for our rally weekend, but not the public area at the old Lanrak
racecourse we should have used, this was closed to public access due
to wild deer using it, and the possibility of them catching or
spreading the disease.

We really do live in a beautiful country here in Scotland, many
people not realising that I can see wild deer less than 3km from my
home on the edge of the city. Our son is a taxi driver and last year
his taxicab was severely damaged when a deer jumped the deer fence on
the city outer bypass and landed on the bonnet(hood)!

Next week and the week after, NO Salsa, as Ella and I will be in
Spain for a short break. (Stop cheering and clapping now!) I'll let
you know how we get on when I come back.

Nothing to report on Arachne, still using it minimally but on a
regular basis, and checking pages where necessary. Has anyone any
comments to make regarding Opera's latest version? I'm thinking of
putting it on the machine as a further alternative.

For a politically correct farewell, may your supreme being (assuming
that does not offend you or anyone you know) go with you - - -or not
as the case may be.

Regards

Mel
