I have a question: Where does InSight hide its version of the index
file for the InBox?
Well, actually, that question isn't quite accurate. Maybe it should be
"Where does InSight hide it's old, outdated, version of the index for
the InBox?"
Since I'm always "on line" when my computer is turned on, and since I've
never managed [in any version] to start up Arachne in 'off-line' mode, I
have my Inbox set as my "home page." That way I can start doing mail or
whatever right away, rather than having to punch a bunch of buttons to
stop the download of the Arachne website or whatever.
I have cache set to the RAMdrive; I have Cache2Temp set "No" so I can
now access mail in 8+3 folders; when I'm finished with the Inbox and
preparing to shut down Arachne, I always "R" the index so it actually
shows the current contents of Inbox.
Yet when I start Arachne each day, an old inaccurate index file is
displayed for the contents of the Inbox!!
Why does it even exist?
Where on earth is it hidden?
How do I get rid of it so it doesn't show up?
