Hi LD;
In order of asked:

Arachne normally hides it's .idx for mail in TEMP (or Arachnetemp).

Arachne hides it's old, outdated .idx in .\mail.
That was a good question. I found a .idx pair from Xmas day 2000 in
my .\mail dir, while my current .idx is in \temp on my ramdrive.

In your case with Cache2Temp NO, I would guess the .idx files will be
in your cache. And if your cache is on RD, then you are quite correct
to set Cache2Temp as No because there would be no speed advantage.

Use Norton's FindFile and seach for *.idx.
