AFAICT, the server went down again. I got two "could not deliver for
last four hours" messages from mailer daemon.
If that was the case, and if the digest is set to collect everything
over X time and then send out the digest, the size would be zero if
nothing had come in during the X time period.
Just a SWAG but may be close
