Offline Email?

My sister was wondering if there is a way that she can download all her new email then disconnect then reply and write all her email offline then just reconnect to send it, if this is possible could someone please let me know how she'd go about doing this, so I can pass it on to her.   Thanks in advance       Curtis Matthiesen
