Where Oh Where Are My Messages Gone?

My sister is wondering where her messages are gone, she typed them up and
when she saved them to be sent later she clicked on the "disk icon" (her own
words, not mine) now she can't find them to be sent when she clicks on "Send
Unsent Mail".

So what I'm wondering if someone can tell me how she can get these messages
back, so she can resend them and now have to re-type them all.

Thanks so much for your patience with my sister and me in relaying these
messages.
