I don't know what you mean. Horizontal scrolling works exactly the
same as vertical scrolling and seems to be exactly the same speed as
well, at least for me.
Downloading doesn't seem like a problem either. The big problem is
that much of the web has migrated to complicated and unfortunate
graphic schemes and methods that Arachne can't handle yet.
