Uuencode or base64 multiplies file size by 4/3, as 4 bytes encoded take the place of 3 bytes original. I've been successful downloading Arachne with DOS Lynx386. Thanks to L.D. On accessing Usenet through Google, might Arachne also be able to access Usenet through MailAndNews (http://MailAndNews.com , requires registration)?
