I have Blackbeard, and although it is my primary text editor, I would not be
enthusiastic about recommending it as a good text editor. The reason that I
am still using it is inertia --- I am familiar with it.
I got Blackbeard primarily to use to write FORTRAN programs as it does have a
word wrap of sorts, and automatic indent.
The word wrap works fine if you are upon initial entering of text, but if you
edit a line the line will extend past the word wrap point.
It is/was shareware and I sent my $20.00 in to them and the check was never
cashed --- a plus for Blackbeard.
