Once again, I will suggest we accept the fact that Simtel is GONE for us
and do something about it ourselves.
It's fine to talk a bit at first, but no one is talking.
Does that mean that only LD and I are seriously concerned ?
We can download all of /pub/msdos to a few hard drives somewhere and put
at least parts of it up for worldwide access. I know where some of it can
go. There is no need for every subdir to be hosted at the same location.
In fact, it would be terribly unfair to make ANY of the W9x specific stuff
available thru any organization that is supporting DOS and Linux.
I can find the working storage sites, but I'm not taking any of this down
myself until I find that there are more than three people interested. ;-)
