   I would agree with that. In any case, I don't think the W9x stuff is
in any immediate danger of extinction.

   By all means, if you can get the storage space with public access,
let it happen. I am also concerned when one of the two best archives for
DOS progs. gets the chop by a pack of suits. The other one, Garbo, still
exists by the grace of a few University volunteers.

  Ya never know !  This could become rather important, and even start to
attract the stuff still being written.  Remember, there is a heap of
stuff out there that has never been uploaded to any of the public
archives. Even my own freeware bits and pieces only reside on my own
websites, so how much else is there that will end up with no place to
go ?

  A bit down the track - could it be possible to set up an automated
newsletter of recent uploads, similar to what Simtel did before it got
de-testiculated ?
