Where you ACTUALLY hold the cntrlKey when pressing "G".
Exactly this will work at the DOS prompt.
Since this is a cntrl character, some editors need special treatment.
My Borland written editor (or Wordstar) would like you to press cntrlP
before cntrlG, and then the proper hexcode is entered into your .BAT.
The above works for me in Wordstar, Sidekick and (YECHH) Edit.
It doesn't work with the Arachne editor.
The "alt" + keypad trick doesn't seem to work for entering this char
either.
