So far I have read various ways to make dos accomodate more ram and large hard disks. However, I heard that dos (maybe only the 6.x versions?) do not support some of the newer hardware such as: usb and firewire ports and devices, the PCL bus and therefore devices that plug into PCL slots. I expect there are tsr device drivers to work around such things. What versions of dos do not support what new hardware, and are the workarounds practical (e.g., a huge TSR device driver would not be workable).
