   If you like Turbo BASIC, you'll probably also want to try Power
BASIC, which seems like it took TB and updated from there! Has many
desirable enhancements, e.g., supports 4 COM ports, code for using SVGA
(apparently...) - all that sort of thing. Quite a useable debugger, but
that crashes every so often. The manuals seem to be exact replicas of
the old PB one in some places - newer bits added, though!

   Since you mentioned EPROMS, I used PB to make a PIC-burner!
