The Qube GUI looks cool and it it works nicely, but what can you do with it? Except for ascii text files, I can't open any files or launch any programs with it other than those few applications that come with Qube. There must be a way to associate certain file types with appropriate applications to open them with, as with Windows. I would suppose such a feature would exist, but I haven't been able to figure it out yet. BTW, the internet connection feature supplied with Qube works for me. I can dial up my ISP and get connected and be given an IP address. The "mail sender" doesn't work with my ISP, even though I am certain that I have it set up and configured right. Another list subscriber (I forgot who) reported having good luck with the mail sender. He was successful in using it to post a message to the list.
