Having experienced a Fuji processed photo CD which was unreadable with DOS and Win3.1 software, I was interested to learn that Kodak consider their toes are being trodden on. They complained that Microsoft designed Windows XP unfairly, giving preference to its own software and links to Microsoft-affiliated online photo-finishing services. http://dailynews.yahoo.com/htx/nm/20010813/tc/tech_microsoft_kodak_dc_2.html ====== My most recent photo CD, using film from the processor, had much better color balance than before, but the prints weren't good. The image area of the JPEGs was smaller than the prints. Both aspects (color balance and image area) were the reverse of the first processing, when I had used Konica film. They used two varieties of Konica paper for the processing. Jake
