Greetings-
Tried the latest Version of Baslinux and still cannot get it to browse.
I had it working 8 months ago and I have not changed modems. It is an
external modem which works for Arachne and Nettamer. After I do
pppsetup and ppp-on, the modem lites go crazy just like when I dial up
using Arachne. Then I get the message "ppp ready". At prompt I type
"Links" and I am at a list of sites including Google to visit. I have
tried several choices, but each time, after highlighting and hitting
enter, the modem only flickers (one lite) every 15s...then I get the
"time out" error message. I have tried several other combinations at
"pppsetup" but still can't get it to browse. Like I said, I had ver.1.3
working 8months ago. Any ideas??
