First of all: many thanks for your replies to my previous question about
using broadband with Arachne. I may or may not have taken your advices into
consideration. :-)
Installing the NIC was no problem, nor there was any problem getting the
whole thing to work. Under Windows, that is. Thus far I haven't figured out
how to make it work under DOS though. I guess I may need to load two
drivers: one for the NIC and then something to make Arachne communicate with
the NIC driver. I will look further into this as soon as time permits, but
of course any advices are welcome in the mean time.
Finally, some of you may notice that I have started using HotMail again. I
still do not like it, but I hope it's a temporary solution for using MSN
Messenger and MS NetMeeting, until I find something better. For personal
e-mail to me, I suggest you continue to use my old e-mail address at
swipnet.se.
