Sorry I did not make my point clear. When I said "online email
service" I meant one such as hotmail or yahoo where you read msgs
online with a web browser, as opposed to a pop3 email service (whether
provided by your ISP or anyone else) where you download msgs to your
disk.
I normally get my email via a pop3 service. When I'm home, I d/l the
mail to my hard disk and read it at leisure, offline.
When I'm at work, I can access the same mailbox via www.mail2web.com
using Lynx on a Linux.
