Greetings- Well I got an old 486 set up for drdos and arachne. I thought the hd was shot. It was my first pc and had w95 but somewhere down the pike it quit. I was about to dump it when I decided to go where I have never ventured before. I formatted the hd and then loaded drdos. It was pretty painless. Now I am using it (testing basically) and whats cool is I don't have the mouse for it. Now I am learning the key commands! I know it is still pretty basic what I did, but I learned something new!! Now #2....there is a unpacking program that I got from the Arachne download page. It is supposed to unzip (I think). I am having a problem with it working. If I see something I want to download and it is in zipped form, I click on it and then the Unzip program kicks in. I didn't see much in the instructions, so I just sent it to the download site in arachne. I don't see anything happening except I see an error message. Not sure what or where to place the pk***.exe in path and which path??? Anybody know what I can do for this? Or how do I delete it so I can just download the zipped program and use another unzipper??? Thanks--- PS....Star Trek has a lot going for it....but it still is just a movie.
